On behalf of our new Executive Director, Wilhelmenia Wilson and Suzette Chaumette, President of the Healthy Black Families Board of Directors, we invite you to donate to the Capital Campaign

Use our EIN-46-3142614 and make your tax deductible donation today!

In 2024, Healthy Black Families (HBF) will relocate to 2001 Ashby Street, Berkeley, California, a ground floor office space and location for community programming. The 1,818 square feet of commercial space will provide a stable and affordable headquarters for HBF as we continue to operate and expand in the East Bay and beyond.

The new space, within an affordable housing complex, will provide HBF with permanent offices for the executive and management team, drop-in desks for field staff, flexible rooms for hosting programs, expanded conference and exhibit space to actively engage participants, families and the larger community.

WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT!

At a time when healing within the Black community is crucial, and DEI policies (diversity, equity and inclusion) are becoming more normalized, HBF mission to educate, engage, and advocate for the holistic growth and development of diverse Black individuals and families has never been more relevant. Expansion of HBF will allow us to help more Black families, more efficiently. With your contribution to our capital campaign, HBF will have increased capacity to help thousands of more Black women and their families over the next decade. We invite you to help make this expansion a reality.

All gifts of $1,000 or more will be listed on a plaque in our office lobby and gifts of $2,500 or more may be designated to specific aspects of the project.
